At Mouat Entertainment, we are a family‑owned character entertainment company serving the Bay Area and Sacramento region. We provide a diverse roster of performers for public events (movie premieres, meet‑and‑greets, and private parties) and offer celebrity impersonators, hosts, singers, and artists (make‑up, face painting, and balloon twisting).

What we offer

• Flexible, side‑income opportunities. You only participate when you’re available; there’s no calendar nagging or minimum commitments.

• A simple casting process: we post casting notices in a private group or reach out directly. If you’re free, you take the opportunity; if not, you pass.

• Competitive compensation: $110 for the first hour, then $25 for each additional 30 minutes.

• Travel and expenses: $10 for up to 25 miles outside your hometown; $0.65 per mile beyond 25 miles; tolls reimbursed. Tips from clients vary, commonly 20% of pay or more.

• Diverse performance roles: public events with guest interaction and photos, plus vocal performances if requested; private parties with games and activities. Most events run 1–2 hours, with some longer requests.

Who we’re looking for

• Acting and/or singing experience

• Strong people skills, especially with children

• Reliable transportation and dependability

• Knowledge of Disney, Marvel, DC, and other popular characters (e.g., Glinda, Elphaba) is a huge plus

• Weekend availability is a plus

• Must be comfortable performing in front of crowds.

• Musical theater background is a plus

• Must be willing to learn/practice all activities we offer.

• Must have strong improvisational acting skills.

• Must be willing to research various roles/characters.

• Must provide a work permit if under the age of 18.
